Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Emily, a smart AI chatbot service provided by ALSATECH SAS (the “Company”). By using Emily, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Emily.

Emily enables small businesses to deploy a customized AI chatbot trained on their content to assist website visitors, handle customer service, and potentially increase sales conversions. Emily can operate in multiple languages. Access is available via the Company’s subscriptions, including a free trial tier. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent where required by law to use the Service.

You must create an account to use Emily. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. You agree to notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach.

You may use Emily only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, including data protection laws. You agree not to misuse Emily to produce or disseminate illegal, harmful, or abusive content, to attempt to reverse engineer the service, or to interfere with the service’s operation. The Company may suspend or terminate access for violations or for safety reasons.

All rights, title, and interest in Emily and its underlying technology belong to the Company or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own content you provide for training Emily. By uploading training data or other content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. You may export or delete your data per the procedures described in the Privacy Policy.

Fees, billing schedules, and subscription terms are described on the Company’s website. You agree to pay all applicable fees for your selected plan. Prices may change with notice as permitted by law. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Emily is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. The Company makes no warranties about uptime, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the Company and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. In no event shall liability exceed the fees paid for the twelve months preceding the claim.

The Company processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You are responsible for ensuring your use of Emily complies with data protection laws, including lawful grounds for processing, providing appropriate notices to data subjects, and obtaining necessary consents where required. If you are a data controller, you remain responsible for the lawful processing of personal data you upload or train Emily with. The Company’s data processing activities are described in the Privacy Policy.
